The DSA Buddhist Circle is still meeting. Our monthly gathering is on the last Thursdays. The next one is this Thursday, 6/25, 7PM ET, via Zoom:

Briefly, at these Circle meetings we’ve been meditating together, discussing how mindfulness and Buddhist principles align with socialism, and planning on how to support DSA members, organizers in general. The NYC-based DSA Buddhist Circle members are gearing up to offer some kind of meditation and mindfulness practice to NYC DSA members.

Also, the DSA Buddhist Circle endorsed, and are participating in some way, the July 12th Day of Remembering Our Interdependence, a Buddhist-led, interfaith pilgrimage in NYC, with others outside NYC gathering their own event. Please see below. I extend the invitation to everyone at RSWG to take part.

One idea is to see how DSA RSWG can connect and get involved with interfaith organizing. One such event is the July 12th Day of Remembering Our Interdependence (see below). Another is the Covenant for Our Future –there will be several actions/events around this on the last week of August, including a procession/pilgrimage from Brooklyn to City Hall on August 28th.
